Editors note:  this is a show notice I am copying from Stu Harmon of the  MidPeninsula Muscle car club, to make sure it gets as wide a distribution as possible, because you just can't get any better reason for a show than supporting our Veterans and their families.

This is a Car Show for our VETs..  It's sponsored by:  Reveille
Reveille is a group of veterans and others from Peninsula Covenant Church in Redwood City .  Some of the sales and donations will help provide:

Friday night dinners for the families of wounded troops staying at Fisher House

Welcome baskets for families at Fisher House

Tickets for sporting events such as Giants, Warrior, and Shark games to wounded troops

Special outings

Holiday gatherings and events

Weekly cookie deliveries

2nd Annual Veterans Hospital Car Show Saturday, September 12th.
Where:
Veterans Hospital
3801 Miranda
Palo Alto

Time:
Staging 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.
Donation of $10 per car

 This year we need to make it a fund raiser, so we can continue to bring dinners to the vets and their families staying at the Fisher House. We are asking $10.00 per car. We only have room for 130 cars so the sooner we hear from you the better.

I hope you'll have a similar event for 2012, I know and you know that there are a lot of car fans out there that would be more than glad to participate to the event. I know I would, especially now that I am a new member on partsgeek, I've learned a lot about these cars already.
