1st Annual Hot Rods for Kids Benefit Car Show and Silent Auction

Proceeds benefit Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition serving Santa Clara, Alameda and Santa Cruz counties. 5 Bands all day, including a solo project from a member of The Doobie Brothers. Fantastic Raffle prizes including a special raffle for an '89 Corvette Convertible. Miss Santa Cruz will be in attendance. Come on down for a day of fun in the Santa Cruz sun!

More unique stuff to do- How about a Bus Show Aug 29th!
Thu, 08/26/2010 - 02:40 — rtdonThere will be an open house this Sunday Aug 29 fr 11-3 at the Pacific Bus Museum at 37974 Shinn St ( off Peralta at Mowry ) in Fremont. There will be buses on display, a Flea Market and BBQ.
Come and see those work horses of transit all shined up and looking their best. I've heard an original Glacier Nat'l Park bus and a classic Greyhound ScenicCruiser from the 60's will be part of the displays.
Sounds strange, but potentially very cool. I know I'll be there.

Coming up on the 15th of July from 5-9 PM is the next Vic Hubbards Moonlight Madness Sale and Show. If you're in the Bay Area, and a Mopar Alley member, grab your discount card and head down to A St in Hayward, just west of 880 at the A St exit. They're going to have lots of specials, and they'll pay the sales tax on anything you buy so what's your excuse? Also, with our Mopar Alley discount you can save yourself some major bucks.....
ATTENTION: Date correction on Hot August Niles show

The date given in the calendar in the current Bee lists the Niles show as Aug 14th. That is INCORRECT. I have been advised that the correct date is Sat Aug 21st, the show is always the 3rd Sat in Aug. I apologize for any confusion as I took the date from one of their flyers that was mis-printed.
So, again, the date for the Hot August Niles show is Sat Aug 21st, all other info printed in the Bee is correct. You can also go to www.nilesmerchants.com for updated info.

But let me tell you what happened to me at our car show recently. As many may know we were priveleged to have a special 9 car collection of Hemi Challengers and 'cudas from one of our members.
California Auto Museum Tour (Formerly known as the Towe Museum)
Wed, 05/19/2010 - 21:05 — RamcudaOn Sunday July 18th, Mopar Alley will be making a trip to the California Auto Museum (formerly known as the Towe Museum) in Sacramento. We will be provided with a guided tour of the museum and a discounted rate of $6 per person. There will be a special Dodge Viper display provided by the local Viper club. We will be meeting near the 580/680 interchange (exact meeting location TBD) around 7:30 am and hitting the road by 8 am. After the tour we can head over to old Sacramento for lunch.
The 2010 Alice's Resturant cruise is this Sunday!!
